2     Ben is four years old. He is dressed in his T-shirt and shorts. He watches Sesame Street. Then his mom takes him to day care. In day care, he plays with lots of other four year olds. Later, his mom picks him up. He eats supper with Mom and Meg. Then he rides along in the mini-van. They go to Meg's ballet practice.

3     Meg dresses in her best sparkly T-shirt and jeans. She eats Pop-Tarts for breakfast. She rides the school bus. She is in 5th grade. She does her homework on the bus ride home. After supper, she has ballet practice.

4     John is in high school. He drives to school. This year, he takes English, math, history, and auto mechanics. He finishes his homework in study hall. At 3:00, he has soccer practice. He is on the varsity team. He has two games this week. He eats supper at McDonald's after practice.

5     Mom makes sure that Meg catches the bus. She makes sure that John leaves on time. She takes Ben to day care. Then she goes to work. Mom works in the office of Meg's school.
