There Goes Seth
By Brenda B. Covert

It was a Thursday. The sky was dark. Thunder filled the air. Seth said that thunder was thrilling. He liked loud booming noises!

Seth served the king. There were many things to do. First, he put some yellow roses in a vase. They had thick stems. Their thorns were thin. Then, he took them to the throne room. King Thorin liked to have pretty roses in there.

Next, Seth gave Keith, the royal ferret, a bath. Keith did not like that at all. He was wet and soapy! Then the thunder cracked! That scared the ferret. He jumped out of the bath tub. He raced away.

Seth ran after him. "Come back, Keith!"
