READER #1:After spring arrives, the first holiday we celebrate is Easter.
READER #2:Easter is a major Christian holiday, and it's also a time to celebrate new life.
READER #3:When Easter arrives in America, flowers are blooming, birds are singing, and children are playing outside!
READER #4:Americans celebrate Easter with new outfits and Easter lilies. Baskets of toys and candy are said to be delivered by the Easter bunny. He also hides colorful eggs for children to find!
READER #1:Other countries have different Easter customs.
READER #2:They have Easter eggs in Greece, but the eggs are all dyed red!
READER #3:They even bake those red eggs in a special loaf of bread.
READER #4:You see crusty brown loaves with red ovals visible on the top.
READER #1:There is no Easter bunny in France. Instead, the church bells bring Easter eggs and candy! When the children hear the bells ring on Easter morning, they go outside to look for their treats!
