1     Poppy ran home. She was very excited.
 
2     She ran into the kitchen. No one was there.
 
3     She ran into the dining room. No one was there.
 
4     She ran into the living room. No one was there.
 
5     Poppy looked out the window. Mom and Dad were in the garden. They were picking tomatoes.
 
6     Poppy ran outside.
 
7     "Mom! Dad!" she shouted.
 
8     "Whoa! Slow down!" her father said. He laughed and caught her as she ran by.
