1     A sweet, cold ice cream cone is made of two shapes. Can you figure out which shapes? Here are some hints: one shape starts with the letter "s." The other shape starts with the letter "c."
 
2     Did you figure it out? One shape is a sphere. The other shape is a cone.
 
3     Some artists liked to use many shapes in their art. One style of art is especially known for its many shapes. This style is called Cubism. These artists showed objects in terms of cylinders, spheres, and cones. Their paintings looked flat. Cubism is a form of abstract art. Often, you cannot tell what the artist was painting.
