Baseball Legend   

1     When your mother serves something called "toad-in-the-hole" for breakfast, look out. It's going to be a rough day.
 
2     It all started when my mother knocked on my door and called, "Derek, are you awake?" I jerked up and bumped my elbow on the wall.
 
3     "I'm up now," I groaned, rubbing my throbbing elbow.
 
4     "Breakfast is ready, so hurry up," Mom said.
