Treasure Hunt
By Beth and Douglas Beutler

1     "Now that we have found the ancient treasure map, your mission, Kweegel, is to go to the Cave of Manitosa and search for the long lost Emerald of Jackar. Are you ready to go?"

2     Kweegel looked at his commander. "Yes, sir. This is something I have been trained to do."

3     "Then go in peace. We will pray for your safety."

4     Kweegel went home and spread out the map of the cave and the trail leading to it. He studied the map carefully. It looked as if it would take about two days to hike to the cave. He would then spend several days searching for the stone. It would not be good to be in a cave alone for all that time. So Kweegel called his best friend, Rumple.
