Capitalize North,West,South, and East when they refer to a section of the country.
Do not capitalize north,west,south, and east when they are used as a direction.
Do not capitalize the seasons (fall, summer, winter, and spring).


In Florida the summer seems to last forever!
The people who live far south of the equator have hot winters and cold summers!
